CITY OF COLOGNE

Welcome to Cologne – home of Cologne Cathedral, World

Heritage Site and Germany's number one attraction, drawing

over six million visitors each year.

In addition, Cologne's world-class museums, numerous the-

atres, the Philharmonic and Opera House attract visitors from

all over the world. The locals cultivate ancient traditions:

Their annual highlight, the Cologne Carnival is exuberantly

celebrated. Kölsch – the city's signature beer – never stops

flowing, Rhineland specialities are served and there is friend-

ly and light-hearted revelry. No trip to Cologne is complete

without calling in on one of the best brewery taverns.

Cologne makes your visit memorable – from classic tourist

moments, like climbing to the top of the cathedral, the Rhine

river boat tours or other original city tours like Kölsch tour,

which takes guests through a number of breweries, guided

tours through Roman or mediaeval Cologne.
