General Information
Due to time and technical reasons we kindly ask the spea-
kers not to use their own notebook. Several PC working
stations are provided in the speaker’s centre where speakers
can also work on their charts in a quiet area. Technical staff
will be glad to assist.

Restaurants
Some restaurants and bars are within walking distance to
the congress venue and the Clydebuilt bar/restaurant can
be found at the concourse ground floor East entrance. The
colleagues of the Glasgow information centre will be happy
to recommend locations for dining out.
Coffee breaks and lunch
Coffee and tea are served during the morning and afternoon
coffee breaks from Thursday afternoon, 28 May to Sunday
31 May 2015 free of charge to all registered participants.
A healthy lunch will be served in the exhibition area in hall 2
on Friday and Saturday to all registered delegates.
Cloakroom
A cloakroom is available on the concourse ground floor.
You can also store your luggage there.

Bank
An ATM machine is located in the east entrance concourse.
Currency
The official currency is the pound sterling GBP (£). Exchange
of foreign currency is available at Glasgow airport and in
most hotels, banks and exchange offices throughout the city.
Electricity
Scotland uses a 240 volt 50 Hz system. Sockets have the
Commonwealth standard and plugs are three-prong
grounded.
Lost and found
A lost and found service is available at the registration coun-
ter of the congress.
Mobile phones
Participants are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones
turned off while attending the scientific sessions in the mee-
ting rooms.
Programme Changes
The organizers cannot assume liability for any changes in
the congress programme due to external or unforeseen
circumstances. In the event of cancellation by speakers or
other changes in the main programme, no full or partial
refund of the registration fee can be made.
Climate
Every cloud has a silver lining...
As the old Scottish saying goes, "there's no such thing as
bad weather, only the wrong clothes!" Glasgow’s high la-
titude means a moderate mostly warm climate with tem-
perature between 15°C (50°F) and 20°C (61°F) in May. Light
showers can occur daily this time of the season.
Press
Journalists should bring their press ID and register at the
registration counter.
Insurance
The congress fee does not include insurance. All participants
should arrange for their own insurance. Health and accident
insurance is recommended and has to be purchased in your
country of origin.
