17 ECP 2019 · Nice e AIR TRAVEL TO NICE The Nice Côte d’Azur airport is less than 15 minutes away from the city centre and offers direct flights to more than 90 destinations in over 40 countries. The Acropolis Convention Centre is located 7 km away from the airport with which it is connected by bus and tram. Buses (route 98 and 99) to the city centre leave every 16 respectively every 30 minutes. e JOURNEY TO NICE BY CAR The A-8 motorway is the best way to reach Nice if you are travelling from the east or west. If you are travelling from central France (entering from the south), the A-68 is the main highway to Nice. e TRAVEL TO NICE BY BOAT Located in the heart of the city, the Port of Nice compris- es a large harbour, including docks and a dozen wharfs. It is just 7 km from the Nice-Côte d'Azur International Airport and approximately 20 minutes by foot from the city centre. e TRAVEL TO NICE BY TRAIN The SNCF (National Railway Company) provides regular connections from abroad and daily connections with the largest cities in France. The TGV (high-speed train) connects Paris and Nice in 5 1/ 2 hours and provides direct daily connections. e HOW TO GET AROUND From its airport, located a few kilometres away from the city centre, to its complete intermodal transportation network, Nice combines attractiveness and connectivity: The tram covers 9,150 km and 22 stops and connects the North and the East via the city centre. The interurban bus network, particularly dense in Nice, operates along regu- lar service routes in all city neighbourhoods. Besides this, Nice offers an alternative way of transportation with easy- hire cycles (Vélo bleu). 175 docking stations distributed across the whole network give you access to 1,750 cycles, 24 / 7, 365 days a year. e HOW TO GET TO THE CONVENTION CENTRE By tram The Nice tram line T1 stops right in front of the Nice Acropolis Convention Centre (stop: Acropolis). By bus The bus stop closest to the Nice Acropolis Convention Centre is Acropolis / Barla - served by lines 03, 04, 27, 82 and 89. The stop is very close to the main entrance of the Nice Acropolis Convention Centre. e HOTELS IN NICE CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH has reserved a large number of rooms in various hotels in Nice, in different price categories.
