16 ECP 2019 · Nice e LETTER OF INVITATION The congress organisation will be pleased to send a formal letter of invitation to delegates requesting an invitation let- ter for visa purposes. You can apply for an invitation let- ter online during the registration process on the congress website. The letters will be sent as e-mail attachments. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply a commitment from the congress to provide any financial support. e VISA The entry formalities for France vary according to the country of origin. Congress delegates are asked to address enquiries about entry and vaccination requirements to the travel agent or to the local French consulate in the home country. More information can be found at www.france-visas.gouv.fr . e INSURANCE The congress fee does not include insurance. All partici- pants should arrange for their own insurance. Health and accident insurance is recommended and has to be pur- chased in your country of origin. e CURRENCY The official currency of France is Euro (EUR). Congress payments will be accepted only in EURO. e CLIMATE IN NICE Nice has a hot summer Mediterranean climate. The day-time temperature in early September ranges between 17 and 25 °C. Rain is possible. e CITY OF NICE Both elegant and simple, Nice's charm comes from its Mediterranean climate as well as its beauty.
