Join the official Opening Ceremony of the 26
th
ECP in the
ICC Auditorium of ExCeL London. During the ceremony,
there will be words of welcome by the ESP President. An
amazing show of Irish dancers as well as a Welsh choir
performing classical Welsh songs get you in the mood for
the congress in London. The Opening Ceremony will be
followed by a Welcome Reception in the Capital Hall.

Central Hall Westminster /Great Hall
Central Hall Westminster was built in 1912 and is a Grade
II listed building adjacent to the Houses of Parliament and
Big Ben, and opposite Westminster Abbey.
The “Great Hall” which will be used for the exclusive ECP
Concert, holds Europe’s largest self-supporting domed
ceiling – a stunning location for a classical concert.
You will get to enjoy a concert performed by the famous
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Vartan
Melkonian.

Party at the Museum of London Docklands. This unique
venue traces the 2000 year history of London's river, port
and people, from the arrival of the Romans to the rise of
Canary Wharf. Located over five floors of a splendid late
Georgian warehouse, the Museum is Canary Wharf's only
Grade 1 listed venue. Built in 1802, the warehouse which
is home to Museum of London Docklands was originally
used to store vast quantities of rum, molasses, coffee,
pimento and cotton from the West Indies.
