ONE DAY SYMPOSIUM FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)
The ECP 2017 will again feature a
One Day Symposium
for Information Technology (IT)
. The symposium will
take place on Sunday, 3 September 2017 and will contain
ambitious and contemporary topics. Further information
will be available online at

TWO DAY SYMPOSIUM FOR MOLECULAR BIOLOGISTS (MB)
For the third time in a row, the ESP is happy to announce
that the
Two Day Symposium for Molecular Biolo-
gists involved in Molecular Pathology Diagnostics and
Research
will broaden the spectrum of the European
Congress of Pathology.
The symposium will take place on Monday, 4 September
and Tuesday, 5 September 2017 and will address current
practice and new developments of molecular diagnostics
within pathology.
The presentations will be interactive with participation of
the audience and there will be ample time for discussions.
The sessions will focus primarily on the interests of mo-
lecular biologists working in pathology molecular diagnos-
tics and research. However, pathologists and other partici-
pants are more than welcome to join this symposium!
Topics include:
1. NGS based T and B lymphocyte clonality analysis
2. New WHO guidelines for the classification of lymphoid
neoplasms: role for molecular diagnostics
3. Biomarkers for checkpoint inhibitors
4. Resistance mechanisms for checkpoint inhibitors
5. Application of RNA sequencing in pathology
6. Classification of mutations
7. Bio-informatics and multiple parameter modelling
