WFSBP 2021 30 Call for Abstracts for Free Communications and Posters Extended deadline for abstract submission: 9 March 2021 Notification of acceptance / rejection: April 2021 The International Scientific Program Committee of the WFSBP 2021 Congress invites you to participate actively in this congress which will be an extraordinary occasion for the exchange of thoughts and experiences. We look forward to receiving abstracts online for consideration and inclusion in the scientific program as Free Communi- cations or Posters. The submitted abstracts should give a brief description of the title and topic. All abstracts will be reviewed by the International Scientific Program Committee. The reviewers will judge the abstracts according to the relevance to the WFSBP, standard of English, objectivity of statement, description of what was done, suitability of methods to aims, conclusions confirmed by objective re- sults, ethics, scientific value, potential clinical value, originality of work and overall impression. All accepted abstracts will be grouped by category topics into thematic sessions and will be published online on the congress website. The deadline for abstract submission is 9 March 2021 FREE COMMUNICATIONS Free Communications will be selected by the International Scientific Program Committee after abstract submissions have been reviewed. Only 1 Free Communication abstract may be submitted per author. POSTERS Accepted posters will be part of the virtual poster exhibi- tion which is accessible for all registered delegates throughout the congress. A maximum of 2 abstracts may be submitted per author (posters and FC combined). Please note that accepted abstracts will be published only after completed registration and payment of the congress registration fee. The acceptance of submitted abstracts si- multaneously results in binding registration of the speaker to attend the conference. The registration fee must be paid immediately upon receipt of the abstract acceptance, at the latest by 20 April 2021 . Authors who have not paid the registration fee by that date will not be included in the scientific program. GUIDELINES FOR THE PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS a Please choose a title that clearly indicates the content of the contribution. a Please avoid abbreviations in the title (exception: scien- tific terms). Abbreviations may be used in the text if they are defined when used first. a Please make sure to use proper English language. a Please refrain from spelling abstract titles and co-authors’ names in capital letters. a The author‘s name (full first name, family name) and place of work (institution, city, country) should be indi- cated in the respective form fields, not in the abstract title. a Degrees, titles, street addresses and acknowledgements of support should be omitted in the abstract title and text. a Please choose a topic from the topic list. a Abstracts are to be submitted in English, the official lan- guage of the WFSBP 2021 Congress and should not ex- ceed a maximum of 300 words . a A disclosure of the existence of any significant financial interest or other affiliations with a funding organization or with a commercial supporter of the session and / or provider of commercial services is required. a All abstracts will be published online in the scientific program of the WFSBP Congress from April 2021. a Only 1 Free Communication abstract / Young Investi- gator Award Abstract may be submitted per author. a A maximum of 2 abstracts may be submitted per author (posters and FC combined).
