The WFSBP 2015 Congress App is free for congress partici-

phone users at WFSBP 2015 in Athens with on-the-go access

Airport
The Athens-Eleftherios Venizelos Airport (ATH) is the in-
ternational airport of the city Athens. It is named after the
premier Eleftherios Venizelos (1864–1936) and is the big-
gest and most important airport of Greece. The airport
functions as an intersection for the Middle East and the
Balkans. More than 13 million travelers transfer via the
ATH yearly. It is 25 kilometers away from the city center
and part of the commune Spata.

Climate
The city of Athens is located in a subtropical Mediterrane-
an climate. The average temperature for the month of June
is 28 °C / 82 °F and it can drop down to 20 °C / 68 °F.
The sun shines 13 hours a day. The sun’s rays are strong
and it is recommended to use sun-cream and to wear a
hat and sunglasses. A bottle of water should be taken with
you every time you go outside to keep yourself hydrated.
