ESP/IAP 2020 | Preliminary Programme

12 ESP / IAP 2020 · Glasgow Further Sessions e ONE-DAY COMPUTATIONAL PATHOLOGY SYMPOSIUM (CP) The Computational Pathology Symposium will be organised in conjunction with the ECP in 2020 for the fifth time. Previous versions attracted an audience consisting of pathol- ogists, scientists and technicians from hospitals, academia and industry. The symposium aims to be a forum for discussion and ex- change of knowledge in the area of computational pathol- ogy. We bring together key speakers from both academia and industry to facilitate such interaction in the broadest possible manner. Topics of interest are algorithm develop- ment and validation, regulatory and usability issues, and clinical value. Panel discussions and demonstrations may be part of the program in addition to invited speakers and sub- mitted talks. This year, for the first time, we will hand out a ‘best paper award’ to the highest ranking submitted abstract. The symposium is organised by Jeroen van der Laak, Darren Treanor, Nasir Rajpoot, and Geert Litjens. Further information will soon be available online at www.esp-congress.org / www.iap2020.com . e TWO-DAY MOLECULAR PATHOLOGY DIAGNOSTICS AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM (MD) We are pleased to invite you to the sixth “Two-Day Sym- posium on Molecular Pathology Diagnostics and Trans- lational Research” . Our programme for 2020 includes mo- lecular approaches with clinical applications in oncology as well as newest developments of modern technologies, like parallel sequencing and the analysis of new biomar- kers. The major goals for scientists working together with pa- thologists and clinicians in the field are to provide high- quality molecular diagnostics, but at the same time to translate basic research discoveries into clinical practice. The symposium will address and discuss current advan- ces, but also challenges and problem-solving approaches in the field of molecular pathology. Not only molecular biologists, but also pathologists and other participants are more than welcome to join this symposium! Get the latest insights in precision medicine and how they directly im- pact testing and treatment decisions. The symposium will cover the following topics: e Update on molecular pathology of lung cancer e PARP inhibition and beyond: resistance, BRCAness and HRD e NGS – from targeted to comprehensive testing e Update on molecular pathology of breast cancer e Joint Session with WG Molecular Pathology: Case presentations by pathology trainees and / or young molecular biologists Organisers: e Erik Jan Dubbink, The Netherlands e Frederick Klauschen, Germany e Carina Heydt, Germany e Marjolijn Ligtenberg, The Netherlands e Sabine Merkelbach-Bruse, Germany e Bastian Tops, The Netherlands Further information will also be available online at www.esp-congress.org / www.iap2020.com . e REGISTRATION FEES (For ESP/IAP Congress delegates the symposia are included in the registration fee) Registration and payment received by 6 October 2020 EUR after 6 October 2020 EUR Two-Day Molecular Pathology Diagnostics and Translational Research Symposium (7/8 Dec 2020)  160,00 220,00 One-Day Computational Pathology Symposium (6 Dec 2020) 90,00 120,00
