18 ECP 2018 · Bilbao e OPENING CEREMONY AND NETWORKING RECEPTION Saturday, 8 Sept 2018 e 19:00 – 22:00 Euskalduna Conference Centre Join the official Opening Ceremony of the 30 th Euro- pean Congress of Pathology in the Auditorium of the Euskalduna Conference Centre. During the ceremony, there will be words of welcome by the President of the ESP, the President of the Spanish Society of Pathology, the Chair of the LOC and a performance by the Bilbao Choral Society. The Opening Ceremony will be followed by a Networking Reception in the Exhibition Hall. e CONGRESS CONCERT Tuesday, 11 Sept 2018 e 20:00 – 22:00 Campos Eliseos Theatre The Campos Eliseos Theatre with its beautiful art nou- veau façade, designed by the Basque-French decorator Jean Batiste Darroguy, is a modernist eye-catcher. The theatre is a listed monument and has always been known as "The Chocolate Box". It was reopened in 2010 after a restoration process undertaken by the City Hall of Bilbao and the General Association of Authors. The renowned Bilbao Symphonic Orchestra will perform an exclusive concert for the ECP delegates with a classical-romantic repertoire including a taste of Basque music. Located in the heart of Bilbao, near the Guggenheim Museum, the Iberdrola Tower is a landmark and the tallest building of the Basque country. The 24 th floor provides you with a breathtaking 360º view of the city. Enjoy the final evening, indulge in great Basque food and dance the night away!
