Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the World Federation of ADHD, we are pleased to welcome you to the 6

th

World

Congress on ADHD – From Child to Adult Disorder in Vancouver, Canada, from 20 – 23 April.

The city of Vancouver is home to a vast multicultural population, characterised by the influence of

70 different cultures, a welcoming and hospitable community and an excellent cuisine. Bordered

by the Pacific Ocean and the coastal mountain range, Vancouver offers an amazing backdrop no

matter where you look, and is one of the world leading cities in sustainability. The city has also

built a reputation as a premier destination for meetings and conventions. So, look forward to ex-

perience an exciting stay with plenty of opportunities.

Every second year, the World Congress on ADHD attracts numerous delegates from all over the

world who want to learn about the latest research findings and perspectives. The World Congress

makes it possible to listen to world-renowned speakers, presenting the most recent information

on ADHD and related disorders, and to share experiences and knowledge with old and new friends.

Proven scientific formats such as Plenary Sessions, Hot Topic Symposia, Educational Seminars and

Meet-the-expert Sessions, Young Scientist Award Sessions and Guided Poster Tours constitute the

backbone of the World Congress. However, we are also proud of introducing novel formats such

as Late Breaking News, Grand Round, and our Free Communication Sessions.

We are very excited to welcome you to Vancouver and hope that you will take part in our excep-

tional scientific programme. We promise you an unforgettable learning experience with the most

recent and authoritative information on all aspects of ADHD.
